The top lid has gilt
piano style hinges and the top compartment is locked by a gilt lock and
key plate. There is a useful mirror in the top.
Inside the top is a
wooden lift out tray which has four large and three small separate compartments and eight
ring rolls. When removed it reveals a large full depth storage space.
All compartments and the
chest are superbly lined in a luxury cream velour fabric that does
justice to this fine item. It looks and feels every inch the quality item
that it is.
