Weather does not Hold up the Despatches

With roads frozen and snow lying thick in Whiteley it was only the special efforts of our staff that got the parcels of jewellery boxes, handbags, watch boxes and gifts away this week.

Our driver from UPS arrived at our premises on Friday to say that he had not been able to get through to our stores and had been forced to park almost half a mile away.

Not to be deterred by this, three of our staff ran shuttles to the van to make sure that for everyone who had ordered a jewellery box, a designer handbag or a watch box, they would get on their way.

Congratulations to everyone and UPS for getting them away and we trust safely and quickly to their destination

Christmas is our busiest time of the year for sales of luxury gifts to customers around the world

Elegance by Elena were delighted to support ChildLine at the fantastic CCF Summer Ball at the Landmark Hotel in London

The month of September celebrated the 10^th anniversary of the annual Capital Corporate Finance Ball in aid of ChildLine, with a full house at the beautiful Landmark Hotel in London.

The NSPCC were delighted when the Directors of Capital Corporate Finance and sponsors  raised over £55,000 at the CCF Summer Birthday Ball on the 11 September 2009.

In keeping with the glamour of previous years, 320 guests dressed to impress as they took part in a feast of fundraising and entertainment hosted by Graham Cole, from ITV’s "The Bill".

The evening began with a champagne reception and saw many guests leave with a smile on their face after winning one of the many wonderful prizes donated by generous sponsors; Gifts and prizes that included a holiday to LA with a VIP tour of the Warner Bros. Studios, original art work by Paul Insect and a stunning "Jewellery Box" jewellery box by Elegance by Elena were won.

Margherita Russell, Community Events Manager at the NSPCC said: “On behalf of all the children that call ChildLine, we would like to thank everyone for their support over the past 10 years in organising and sponsoring this fabulous "Summer Ball “

The NSPCC are proud to announce that Capital Corporate Finance have raised over £560,000 during the past 10 years and in doing so, have helped over 181,250 children get through to the safety and comfort that a ChildLine counsellor provides. Because of them those children have someone to turn to.
